Terms of Use — Glint

Effective date: August 5, 2026

By using Glint ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Glint can and cannot do

Glint cannot prove that a room is free of hidden cameras. No app can. It gives you four ways to look, and it tells you what each one found — but a negative result is not a guarantee.

Specifically:

Glint is a consumer tool, not a professional counter-surveillance service. If you have reason to believe you are being recorded unlawfully, contact local law enforcement.

Acceptable use

Glint is for checking spaces you are lawfully occupying — your home, a hotel room, a rental you have booked. Do not use it to interfere with security systems you do not own, to access networks without permission, or in any way that breaks the law where you are.

Subscriptions

Glint's network scan and magnetic sweep are free and require no subscription. Glint Pro unlocks the infrared detector, the lens-glint finder, unlimited guided sweeps and saved reports.

Apple's standard End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app.

No warranty

Glint is provided "as is". We make no warranty that it will detect any particular device, or that a room you have checked is free of surveillance.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of Glint is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
