Sound ID says "couldn't catch it". Get closer to the bird, reduce background noise (wind, traffic), and record a few seconds of clear song. Identification runs on your device, so it also works offline.
Photo ID needs internet. Photo identification is processed on our server; make sure you have a connection. Sound ID works offline.
Hotspots show a default list. Enable Location access (Settings → Bird Identifier → Location) to see real birding spots and recent sightings near you.
Restore a purchase. Go to My Birds → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with.
Manage or cancel a subscription. Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Sound identification uses BirdNET by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Birding hotspots and sightings use eBird data. Quiz photos are from Wikimedia Commons under their respective licenses (see Photo Credits in the app).
